RANDY SILVER:
Randy Silver is a third generation professional
photographer located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
His work has been published in Outdoor Photographer,
Sierra, Country Inns, International Photographer, Sierra Heritage,
Pacific Photo World, Pro Photo West, Frommer’s New World
of Travel and Northern California Homes and Gardens.
Randy’s book entitled “The French Landscape: Images
of a Special Light“ is scheduled for publication next
year.
In recent years Randy’s award winning black
and white fine art infrared photography has been exhibited at
Stanford University, the Hewlett Packard Corporate Gallery,
and in San Francisco at the 595 Market Street Gallery, Marathon
Plaza Gallery and the Atrium Gallery.
Randy holds the degree of Photographic Craftsman
from Professional Photographers of America.
He was the first recipient of the annual “Certified
Photographic Consultant of the Year” granted by Photographic
Marketing International.
He taught photography in the San Francisco Bay
Area for many years and for the National Sierra Club.
His photography tours have taken him throughout
the United States, Canada, the British Isles and Ireland.
Since 2000 Randy has photographed six times
in France as well as in China, Tibet, the Netherlands, Germany,
Austria, Hungary and Russia.
Randy uses black and white infrared photography
to capture the excitement and mystery of the landscape.
